My Design Process
A high-level view of how I tackle the design process.
I conduct User research using Competitor analysis, User interviews & User surveys in an effort to better understand the problem that needs to be solved.
Once the research is complete, it's time to analyze the findings. I do this using affinity mapping, persona's, storyboards & scenarios.
I start the ideation process by doing some sketches, followed by paper proto-typing, wireframing & low-fi prototypes.
My design process begins with a style tile that showcases the overall look and feel. I then use Invision to create Hi-fi mockups to show a realistic version of the app/website.
I use usability and A/B testing to gain better insights regarding the design. The results of these tests help make decisions to produce the best experience for the User.
It is important to have ongoing testing and iteration to the design. The User's needs are ever changing and it is important to stay on top of new trends and industry changes.
